We Can't Stop

Delectable, sweet, and delish candy scents wafted unto our noses when we were nearing 'Made In Candy' in Power Plant Mall. The candy store offered assorted candies and you even get to see how these sweet treats are being made. The candy is so good, it reminded me of the sweet Christmas candies I munched on when I was little. :)

I wore a striped bodycon dress, silver metallic oxfords and my trusty 'ol jaguar bag. My outfit came in shades of black and grey. :)

Carried Away

Nothing beats the sweet scent of flowers and the melodious chirping sounds you hear in the morning. Since the rain is frequently giving a nudge to our sunny country (hey it rhymes!), I won't let Mr. Pain Rain stop me from maximizing the last week of my summer vacay. My armor is ready. (breezy sheer tops and ubiquitous floral crowns, that is!)

   Since I am FINALLY getting started on my major room renovation, I have been helplessly trying to organize all the junk in my cobwebbed space. Magazines, old photos, used lotion bottles, elementary-days-colored-gel-pens, boxes of heartfelt letters, and notebooks (the fancy ones wherein I don't get to use because it's too-darn-fancy-to-write-on) can all be piled up as high as Mt. Olympus... SO, thanks to my lazy bum, I made an inspirational 'board' where I can get kickass ideas for organizing things.

Nothing Safe is Worth the Drive

In the world of uncertainty and insecurity, we tend to jump in headfirst without looking. With the help of Taylor Swift's youth-ravaged-quotes and the willing heart of a good 'ol friend, I came up with a look that shows the whirlpool that I'm in. I consider BLACK as something mysterious, a strong color (well technically, it's not a color.. but who cares about scientific churvaloos?) which manifests deep emotions, thoughts, and dreams.

A Lazy Afternoon

Summer days and summer haze... The feel of the hot summer is just kicking in. I am proud to say that I managed to spend quality time with our dog, Jazz! I usually don't take him to walks around our quiet village but it was fun playing with this over-hyper dog (if there is even such a thing!) 

With my trusty Doc Martens sneakers and my weapon-- I mean, sunnies... Jazz and I are good to go!

Hello, Summer 2013!

I can't believe that summer has already made its grand entrance! And what better way to start the hot season with a SLEEPOVER! So after 'surviving' my first year as a legit college student, Maki and I had an amazing sleepover at Edsa Shangri-la hotel's new suite! The season of skater skirts and cat-eye sunnies is finally here and I am beyond stoked to have an awesome summer ahead.

I am properly equipped with the right weapons to combat the blazing sun, the 'potential' boredom (but of course, I won't let that happen!), and all the tempting food that I will face this summer! So bring it on! And no, the breakfast buffet at Heat is NOT helping. At all.

I have a feeling that this is gonna be one kick-ass-awesome summer.... :)

So long, Sembreak!

As I bid the Sembreak a sarcastic and glorious goodbye, I shall post one final 'sembreak project' look. This look was inspired by the for-the-bombshells-only brand GUESS, and their 1981 collection is just pure gorj! A tie-up blouse and high waist pants shall do the trick!

I am so stoked for the new semester!! More than grateful that this break is over! Nothing but negative glitters in my chest. Bring it on, babeeehh!! 

Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013

Here comes another season of the Philippine Fashion Week! Models running late in their flip-flops on the way backstage, stylists panicking over a loose thread on a brocade gown, the blinding flashes of cameras, A-listers & fashion critics filling in the front row--- everything about it just fascinates me. The first show I attended showcased the collections of local designers Raoul Ramirez, Vania Romoff, Eric Delos Santos, and Ronald Lirio. Model/Actress Marina Benipayo and Ford's supermodel of the world Danica Magpantay def rocked the runways with their grace, poise, and statuesque beauty. I also attended Penshoppe's showcase 3 days after, and I am proud that the brand has definitely put their best 6-inch heels forward (literally and figuratively!) as their style is currently cat-walking into a whole new level. Everything about it left me in such a rapturous state. 'Til the next season!

Okay I gotta admit it! This laced blouse was def a faux pas for me! It did not flatter my body positively in any possible way! Haha!
